Vedic Mathematics Book

A set of techniques or sutras for swiftly and efficiently resolving numerical tasks is known as Vedic Maths or Vedic Mathematics. It is composed of sixteen sutras, known as formulae, and thirteen subsutras, known as subformulae. These can be used to solve problems in calculus, geometry, algebra, arithmetic, conics, etc.

The Indian monk Bharati Krishna Tirtha wrote a book titled Vedic Mathematics, which was initially released in 1965. It is a collection of mathematical methods that were purportedly taken from the Vedas and had sophisticated mathematical knowledge.

Vedic Mathematics By Bharati Krishna

The Problem Solver contains a list of mental calculation techniques based on the original Vedas written by Maharishi Ved Vyas. It focuses on “Ganita Sutras” which are easier to learn, faster to use, and less prone to errors and help develop creativity, logical thinking, and intuition. Vedic Mathematics can be used to remove math phobia and can be taught to (school) children as easy learning material along with other high-speed methods.

  1. Calculations become easy and short.
  2. Simplifications can be done in less time.
  3. Students undergo less mental stress.
  4. Results obtained by sutra-based methods can be easily verified with normal procedures.
  5. The possibility of committing errors by students using these sutras is negligible
  6. The use of sutras helps students to improve their knowledge and interest in the subject of mathematics.
  7. Vedic maths helps to solve hard problems using mental calculations.
