upsc civil services notification 2025
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will published the the notification for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination for the year 2025 on 22 Jan on upsc.gov.in.
The online registration process will also begin on 22 January and the last date for applying is 11 February 2025 on upsconline.nic.in.
UPSC CSE Exam Date 2025
Aspirants who successfully submit their application will be called to appear for the UPSC CSE Prelims Exam. The prelims exam is scheduled to be held on 25 May (Sunday).
UPSC CSE 2025 Number of attempts for each category
The general category candidates can take as many as six attempts to clear the UPSC CSE exam. For those belonging to the OBC and PwBD categories will get nine attempts. There also exists relaxation in the number of attempts for the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.
