SUHRID MLA Scholarship Form 2024
The SUHRID MLA Scholarship Form is designed to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher, technical, or vocational education. Supported by the MLA Area Development Fund (SUHRID) from the Government of Assam, this initiative aims to help students access educational opportunities and complete their studies. The Transformation & Development Department, Assam, has launched this scheme to uplift students in need.
About the SUHRID MLA Scholarship
The MLAAD fund has been enhanced with an additional grant of Rs 50 lakh per constituency. This fund is specifically meant to help poor and needy citizens of each constituency with their health and higher education expenses. In the SUHRID MLA Scholarship Form, you will need to provide various details about the student. These include the student’s name, date of birth (DOB), guardian’s name, address, active mobile number, and bank account details. You will also need to mention the caste, qualification, details of the course for which assistance is being sought, and other relevant information.

SUHRID MLA Scholarship Form – Documents Required

SUHRID MLA Scholarship Scheme – General Rules
- One-time financial assistance of up to Rs.10,000 may be granted to a patient for treatment of critical diseases, with a limit up to Rs.20,000 in exceptional cases.
- One-time financial support of Rs.10,000 per student is available for higher, technical, and vocational educational purposes, with exceptional limits up to Rs.20,000.
- The beneficiary must not be a family member of the MLA, any relative, or a government employee and their dependents.
- Funds will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account under Direct Benefit Transfer by the Deputy Commissioner upon MLA’s recommendation.
- The names of the beneficiaries will be published on the District website monthly by the Deputy Commissioner, along with the purpose of assistance.
- Only one member from a single family can be chosen as a beneficiary in one financial year.
- No repeated assistance will be provided to the same beneficiary in subsequent years.
- A Utilization Certificate for the funds must be submitted within three months of the financial year’s closure.
