SI Metric Psychrometric Chart
A psychrometric chart is a graphical representation of the physical and thermal properties of moist air. It’s an essential tool in the field of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) engineering, meteorology, and other related fields.

- Dry Bulb Temperature (DBT): This represents the temperature of the air without considering its moisture content.
- Wet Bulb Temperature (WBT): This is the lowest temperature that can be reached by evaporating water into the air at constant pressure.
- Dew Point Temperature (DPT): This is the temperature at which the air becomes saturated with moisture and condensation begins to form.
- Relative Humidity (RH): The ratio of the actual amount of moisture in the air to the maximum amount it could hold at that temperature.
- Specific Humidity (SH): The mass of water vapor present in a unit mass of dry air.
- Enthalpy: The total heat content of the air, including both sensible heat (related to temperature) and latent heat (related to moisture content).
