Odisha Budget 2025-26
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on February 17, 2025 presented the State’s annual Budget for 2025-26 with total outlay of ₹2,90,000 crore, prioritising capital expenditure which is pegged at ₹65,012 crore – 6.1% of Gross State Domestic Product.
In the 2025-26 Odisha Budget, Majhi proposed an allocation of Rs 37,838 crore for the Agriculture sector while Rs 2020 crore has been allocated for CM KISAN yojana.
A total of Rs 600 crore has been allocated for the Shree Anna Abhiyan for promotion of Millets. He also proposed Rs 164 cr for Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Yojana and Rs 850 cr for the renovation of Hirakud Dam.
This apart, the CM allocated a financial assistance of Rs 252 cr for cold storage units for a period starting FY 2025-26 till FY 2029-30.
