Eligibility for MPMKVVCL Electricity New Connection Form
To qualify for the new connection, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The applicant must be the owner or legal occupier of the premises where the connection is requested.
- Consumers with a connected load not exceeding 100 HP can receive power at LT.
- Power supply will be provided at HT to consumers with a connected load over 100 HP.
A consumer whose connected load is up to 100 HP and is willing to sign an agreement for a contract demand of at least 50 KW (or 60 KVA) can be provided power at HT if applicable.
Consumers with a connected load greater than 100 HP but not exceeding 150 HP may request to receive power at LT, solely at the company’s discretion. This requires extending the 11 KV line to their premises and installing 11/.4 KV transformers. The consumer will bear the costs as per the existing rules.
For those receiving supply at HT, the supply voltage will be determined according to the contract demand:

SC/ST single point consumers who fall below the poverty line are entitled to free electricity supply of up to 20 units per month.
SC/ST agricultural consumers under the poverty line, with land up to 1 Hectare, are also eligible for free electricity supply for a maximum of a 5 HP pump.
