सदा बसन्तं हृदयारबिन्दे भबं भवानीसहितं नमामि।।
मंगलम भगवान् विष्णु
मंगलम गरुड़ध्वजः |
मंगलम पुन्डरी काक्षो
मंगलायतनो हरि ||
सर्व मंगल मांग्लयै शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके |
शरण्ये त्रयम्बके गौरी नारायणी नमोस्तुते ||
त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव

Karpur Gauram Karunavtaram Mantra Meaning
- karpūragauraṁ – The one who is as pure/white as camphor (Karpur).
- karuṇāvatāraṁ – The personification of compassion.
- sansārsāram – The one who is the essence of the world.
- bhujagendrahāram – The one with the serpent king as his garland.
- sadāvasantaṁ hṛdayāravinde – Always residing in the lotus-like heart. Here, Hridaya aravinde means, ‘in the heart, that is (as pure as) a lotus’. The lotus, although born in muddy waters, remains untouched by the mud surrounding it. Similarly, Lord Shiva always (Sada) resides (Vasantham) in the hearts of beings that are not influenced by worldly matters.
- bhavaṁ – To the Lord.
- bhavānīsahitaṁ namāmi – Accompanied by the Goddess Bhavani (a form of Goddess Parvati, Shiva’s consort), I bow.
