Justin Baldoni Lawsuit Full Pages
Justin Baldoni has initiated a counter lawsuit against his “It Ends With Us” co-star, Blake Lively, and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, claiming the couple has taken control of his film project in an attempt to undermine his career.
The 179-page complaint was filed in the Southern District of New York, where Baldoni accuses Lively and Reynolds of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
This lawsuit, which also includes Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, and her agency Vision PR Inc., follows Baldoni’s earlier defamation suit against The New York Times. This was triggered by the Times’ report on Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment against Baldoni during the film’s production.
In response to Baldoni’s claims, a spokesperson for The New York Times stated, “The allegations against The New York Times in this new lawsuit are meritless and recycled from the equally baseless claims in the suit that was filed against The Times in California.”
Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, along with his business partner Jamey Heath and two others, are also part of the lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds. They are seeking damages of no less than $400 million.
