List of Irregular Verbs

An irregular Verb is a verb that does not follow the common conjugation pattern. An irregular verb is one that does not form its simple past tense or its past participle by adding “-ed” or “-d” to the base form. Irregular verbs contrast with regular verbs, which form the simple past tense and the past participle by adding “-ed” or “-d.”

A very simple definition of irregular verb is ” A verb that does not follow a simple and normal pattern of inflection”. It is a type of verb in which the past tense is not simply formed by adding -ed at the end of the base form.
