HDFC Bank DD Form
HDFC Bank Demand Draft (DD) is a type of cheque drawn in favour of the payee and is payable in the city as requested by the customer. The customer requires to issue demand drafts for different purposes. The application allows customers to save the payee details of the draft through payee maintenance.
How to Fill HDFC DD Application Form
- Visit your nearest HDFC Bank branch or download the DD application form from the HDFC Bank website.
- Fill in Personal Details:
- Branch Name/Code: Enter the branch name or code where you are applying for the DD.
- Date: Write the current date in the provided format (DD/MM/YYYY).
- Name of the Applicant: Enter your full name as per your bank records.
- Address: Fill in your complete address, including city, state, and pin code.
- Phone/Mobile Number: Provide your contact number for any follow-up.
- Fill in Demand Draft Details:
- Payable to: Write the name of the person or entity to whom the DD is to be issued.
- Payable at: Enter the city where the DD is payable.
- Amount: Write the amount for which the DD is to be issued. Be careful to mention the amount in both words and figures accurately.
- Exchange/Commission Charges: Some forms may have a section to fill this. Usually, the bank fills this in, but if specified, you may need to enter the applicable charges.
- Account Details (if applicable):
- Account Number: Enter your HDFC Bank account number from which the amount is to be debited.
- Type of Account: Mention the type of account (Savings/Current).
- Mode of Payment:
- Cash: If you are paying by cash, enter the amount and denomination.
- Debit to Account: If the amount is to be debited from your account, tick the appropriate box and ensure your account details are correct.
- Cheque: If paying by cheque, provide the cheque number, date, and issuing bank details.
- Signature:
- Sign in the space provided. Ensure that your signature matches the one in the bank records.

The bank will provide the demand draft once you submit the form along with the money/cheque and the demand draft charges. The charges vary from account to account
