Form 8 – for Correction in Voter ID
Form 8 is an application form for making corrections to particulars entered in the Electoral Roll i.e updating mobile Number, Shifting of Residence Address, and other purposes.
How to Update Mobile Number in Voter ID or Update a new Address
- You can get Form 8 either offline from the Election Commission office or online through the official website of the Election Commission in your country.
- Fill out the form with accurate details. Specify the corrections you need to make in your particulars such as name, age, address, photograph, etc. Ensure that you provide the correct details as per your identification documents.
- Attach supporting documents as required. These documents may include identity proof, address proof, and any other relevant documents that substantiate the corrections you are requesting. Submit the filled form along with the attached documents to the concerned Election Commission office. You can submit it in person or through postal mail, depending on the instructions provided.
