Form 19 and 10C
Form 19 and Form 10C are documents used in India’s Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) scheme, which is a retirement benefits scheme for employees in India.
This form is used for the withdrawal of accumulated provident fund (PF) by an employee. When an employee leaves their job or retires, they can use Form 19 to claim their provident fund balance
This form is used for claiming benefits under the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) of the EPFO. Employees who have completed at least 10 years of service are eligible to claim pension benefits under EPS.
Form 10C is used to claim a withdrawal benefit if the employee has completed less than 10 years of service or to claim a pension if the employee has completed more than 10 years of service. The form requires details such as the employee’s name, PF account number, date of leaving service, reason for leaving, and bank account details for pension disbursement. Similar to Form 19, Form 10C is submitted to the employer and then forwarded to the EPFO for processing.
