The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) syllabus is designed to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in schools across India. The CTET exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 have to appear for Paper 1 while those who wish to be teachers for classes 6 to 8 have to appear for Paper 2.
