How to Update Aadhar Cards for Children
- Visit the nearest Aadhar Enrollment Center. You can find one online through the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website or by contacting their helpline number.
- Obtain the Aadhar Update/Correction Form from the enrollment center or download it from the UIDAI website. Fill out the form with the required details.
- You’ll need to provide documents supporting the changes you want to make. For updating a child’s Aadhar card, you will generally need documents such as the child’s birth certificate, parent’s Aadhar card, and any other relevant documents specified by UIDAI.
- The child’s biometric data such as fingerprints and iris scan will be captured at the enrollment center.
- After submitting the form, you’ll receive an acknowledgment slip containing the Update Request Number (URN). This URN can be used to track the status of your update request.
