Gunotsav is an effort to improve the quality of the state to improve the learning levels of elementary students. The Hon’ble Minister of Education, Assam has already announced in his budget speech that he will implement the scheme. It aims to evaluate the performance of schools and school students and to design strategies for improving the quality of learning and the school environment. Educational achievements, co-educational activities, availability, and utilization of school infrastructure and other facilities, and class participation of children from Class-2 to 8 will be assessed in four key areas.
