Discover the DDU-GKY Courses List, part of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) launched by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) on 25th September 2014. This initiative aims to provide training and support to rural youth, helping them to improve their income and follow their career dreams. DDU-GKY is closely linked with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and is working tirelessly to change the lives of young people in rural areas across India.

DDU-GKY’s Reach and Impact

DDU-GKY operates in 28 States and Union Territories, covering 689 districts and reaching out to youth in over 7,426 blocks. The program boasts more than 1,575 ongoing projects, run by over 717 partners, and offers training in more than 502 trades spanning 50 different sectors. Notably, about 180 million, or 69%, of India’s youth population aged between 18 to 34 years live in rural regions. Among these, around 55 million young people from underprivileged backgrounds struggle with minimal employment opportunities.

DDU-GKY Courses List 2022

• Certified Unarmed Security Guard – 3 months duration. Minimum Qualification- 10th Class
• Certified Housekeeping Attendant (Manual Cleaning) – 3 months duration. Minimum Qualification- 10th Class
• Certified Data Entry Operator – 3 months duration. Minimum Qualification- 12th Class
• Certified Sales Associate – 3 months duration. Minimum Qualification- 12th Class
• Certified Neera Technician – 3 months duration. Minimum Qualification- 5th Class
